1. General Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy applies to all orders placed through NCD USA LLC, North Carolina Dispensary USA, MBE Ventures LLC, www.CoastalCannabis.us, Shopify, company websites, online stores, social media stores, invoices, wholesale orders, franchise-related purchases, promotional sales, merchandise sales, hemp-related purchases, wellness products, accessories, apparel, branded goods, or any other product or service sold by the company.

By placing an order, submitting payment, requesting shipment, providing a shipping address, or purchasing from the company, the customer agrees to this Shipping Policy, along with our Legal Notice, Terms of Service, Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, and any other applicable company policies.

The company reserves the right to update, modify, refuse, delay, cancel, hold, or restrict any shipment at any time if required for legal, compliance, safety, payment, carrier, inventory, fraud prevention, or business reasons.

2. Shipping Compliance Notice

NCD USA LLC and North Carolina Dispensary USA may sell or offer retail products, wellness items, apparel, accessories, merchandise, hemp-derived products, lifestyle products, business materials, franchise materials, wholesale products, or other lawful goods.

Certain products may be subject to federal, state, local, carrier, payment processor, age-verification, or shipping restrictions. Customers are responsible for making sure that any product ordered is legal to purchase, possess, receive, use, or resell in their state, county, city, municipality, or jurisdiction.

The company does not ship marijuana, illegal cannabis, controlled substances, or any product that the company determines may be prohibited by applicable law or shipping carrier policy.

For hemp or hemp-derived products, carriers may require compliance with federal, state, and local laws. USPS states that legal hemp and hemp-based products, including CBD, must follow Publication 52, Section 453, comply with applicable laws, and retain compliance records such as lab results, licenses, or compliance reports for at least two years after mailing. UPS requires hemp/CBD shippers to use a dedicated account and provide licenses and a signed UPS agreement. FedEx states that hemp-derived CBD products may be permitted for parcel services only if they contain 0.3% THC or less and comply with applicable laws.

Because laws and carrier policies may change, the company reserves the right to stop shipping certain products, remove certain states from service, require additional verification, or cancel orders without prior notice.

3. Processing Times

Orders are generally processed in the order they are received.

Standard processing time may take 1–5 business days, depending on product availability, order volume, payment verification, age verification, fraud screening, compliance review, weather delays, supplier timing, carrier availability, or business operations.

Business days generally mean Monday through Friday, excluding weekends, federal holidays, carrier holidays, severe weather closures, and company-observed closures.

Processing time is separate from shipping transit time. The time it takes to prepare, verify, pack, and release an order is not the same as the time it takes the carrier to deliver the package after pickup or acceptance.

4. Shipping Transit Times

Shipping transit times are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless specifically stated in writing by the carrier and accepted by the company.

Estimated shipping times may vary depending on the carrier, destination, shipping method, package size, weather, holidays, address accuracy, state restrictions, carrier delays, labor disruptions, high-volume seasons, natural disasters, or events outside the company’s control.

The company is not responsible for carrier delays after a package has been released to the shipping carrier.

5. Shipping Carriers

The company may use USPS, UPS, FedEx, local delivery providers, freight carriers, third-party logistics providers, or other shipping services depending on the product type, order size, destination, compliance requirements, and availability.

The company reserves the right to choose or change the shipping carrier at its discretion, even if a customer selects or requests a specific carrier during checkout.

Some products may not be eligible for all carriers. Certain carriers may restrict hemp, CBD, vape-related items, liquids, fragile items, regulated products, oversized products, or age-restricted goods.

6. Shipping Rates

Shipping rates may be calculated at checkout based on product weight, package size, shipping destination, shipping method, order value, carrier rates, handling costs, insurance, adult signature requirements, compliance costs, or promotional offers.

Shipping charges are non-refundable unless required by law or unless the company determines that a refund is appropriate due to company error.

The company reserves the right to update shipping prices at any time without prior notice.

7. Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for providing a complete, accurate, and deliverable shipping address at checkout.

The company is not responsible for lost, delayed, returned, misdelivered, or undeliverable packages caused by incorrect addresses, missing apartment numbers, wrong zip codes, invalid names, business closure, restricted access, refusal of delivery, expired mail forwarding, or customer error.

If an order is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address, the customer may be responsible for additional shipping charges before the order can be reshipped.

The company is not obligated to refund shipping fees for packages returned, delayed, or lost because of customer-provided address errors.

8. Restricted Shipping Locations

The company may restrict, refuse, or cancel shipments to certain states, territories, municipalities, countries, military addresses, P.O. boxes, freight forwarders, hotels, temporary addresses, business addresses, college campuses, or other locations.

Restrictions may apply because of legal concerns, carrier rules, payment processor requirements, age verification issues, fraud prevention, product type, shipping risk, or company policy.

The company may refuse to ship hemp-derived, cannabinoid-related, age-restricted, or regulated products to locations where the company believes the product may be restricted or where compliance cannot be reasonably verified.

At this time, the company may limit certain shipments to the United States only. International shipping may not be available for certain products, especially hemp-derived, cannabinoid-related, wellness, consumable, or regulated goods.

9. Age-Restricted Deliveries

Some products may be restricted to customers who are at least 18 years old, 21 years old, or the minimum legal age required by law.

The company may require age verification before shipment, during checkout, after checkout, or at delivery. Age verification may include date-of-birth confirmation, ID review, adult signature, or third-party verification.

If age verification cannot be completed, the company reserves the right to cancel the order, refuse shipment, hold fulfillment, or issue a refund according to company policy.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that no minor accepts, uses, opens, or accesses age-restricted products.

10. Hemp-Derived Product Shipping Notice

Any hemp-derived product offered by the company is intended to comply with applicable law at the time of sale. However, hemp laws vary by jurisdiction and may change at any time.

The customer understands that hemp-derived products may be treated differently by different states, carriers, law enforcement agencies, municipalities, or regulatory authorities.

The company reserves the right to require lab testing documentation, compliance review, restricted-state screening, age verification, or additional customer confirmation before shipping hemp-derived products.

The company also reserves the right to cancel or refuse any hemp-related order if the company believes shipment may create legal, carrier, payment, compliance, reputational, or operational risk.

The company is not responsible for any customer’s unlawful possession, resale, transportation, distribution, misuse, or attempted importation of hemp-derived products into a restricted location.

11. No Shipping of Illegal Products

The company does not ship marijuana, illegal cannabis, controlled substances, or unlawful products.

The company does not guarantee that a product lawful in one state is lawful in another state. Customers are responsible for knowing and following their local laws.

If the company determines that an order may violate federal, state, local, carrier, or payment processor rules, the company may cancel the order, refuse shipment, request additional information, or report suspicious activity if required by law.

12. Order Tracking

When available, customers may receive tracking information by email, SMS, Shopify notification, or another communication method after the order has shipped.

Tracking numbers may take time to update after the carrier receives the package.

The company is not responsible for carrier tracking delays, scanning errors, incorrect tracking updates, or carrier system outages.

Once tracking shows that a package has been delivered, the company may consider the order fulfilled unless the company determines otherwise in its sole discretion.

13. Lost, Stolen, or Missing Packages

The company is not responsible for lost, stolen, missing, misdelivered, or damaged packages after the carrier marks the package as delivered.

Customers should contact the shipping carrier directly for delivery disputes, missing package investigations, claims, or GPS delivery confirmation.

The company may assist with a carrier claim when reasonable, but assistance does not guarantee replacement, refund, credit, or reimbursement.

Customers are responsible for providing a secure delivery location. The company is not responsible for porch theft, package theft, mailroom issues, apartment office errors, shared mailbox issues, business delivery problems, or unauthorized pickup by another person.

14. Damaged Packages

Customers should inspect their package immediately upon delivery.

If a package arrives damaged, the customer should contact the company as soon as possible and provide photos of the package, shipping label, damaged items, packaging materials, and order number.

Damage claims may be denied if the customer discards packaging, waits too long to report the issue, provides insufficient proof, or if the carrier denies the claim.

The company reserves the right to determine whether a damaged item qualifies for replacement, refund, store credit, carrier claim, or denial.

15. Returned Packages

Packages may be returned to the company for reasons including incorrect address, refusal of delivery, failure to pick up, carrier restriction, failed delivery attempts, unpaid customs or duties, age-verification failure, compliance concerns, or undeliverable address.

If a package is returned, the company may issue a refund, partial refund, store credit, replacement, or reshipment at its discretion.

Original shipping fees may be non-refundable. Additional shipping charges may apply if the customer requests reshipment.

Certain products may not be eligible for reshipment or refund once returned, including consumables, opened products, final-sale items, customized items, age-restricted products, regulated items, or products that cannot be safely restocked.

16. Refused Orders and Canceled Shipments

The company reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order before shipment or during processing.

Reasons for refusal or cancellation may include suspected fraud, failed payment, chargeback history, restricted location, prohibited product, age-verification failure, compliance concerns, incorrect pricing, inventory shortage, website error, carrier restriction, customer misconduct, suspicious activity, or violation of company policy.

If an order is canceled before shipment, the company may issue a refund according to its Refund Policy.

The company is not responsible for customer losses, missed opportunities, resale expectations, business delays, event delays, or inconvenience caused by canceled or refused shipments.

17. Wholesale, Franchise, and Bulk Shipping

Wholesale, franchise, investor-related, bulk, business-to-business, equipment, inventory, branded materials, apparel, displays, signage, packaging, or large-volume orders may have different processing times, shipping rates, freight requirements, insurance needs, delivery restrictions, or signature requirements.

Bulk orders may require separate invoices, written approval, deposits, payment verification, freight quotes, pallet shipping, commercial delivery addresses, loading dock access, or scheduled delivery.

The company reserves the right to split shipments, delay partial shipments, require additional payment, or ship items separately depending on availability, compliance, and logistics.

Wholesale and bulk shipping fees may be non-refundable once the order has entered production, fulfillment, freight scheduling, or carrier processing.

18. Preorders, Backorders, and Made-to-Order Items

Some products may be sold as preorders, backorders, custom items, made-to-order goods, special-order inventory, branded merchandise, uniforms, printed items, equipment packages, franchise kits, wholesale bundles, or promotional packages.

Estimated shipping dates for these items are estimates only and may change due to supplier delays, production delays, printing delays, inventory availability, compliance review, payment verification, or carrier issues.

The company is not responsible for delays caused by third-party manufacturers, printers, suppliers, warehouses, carriers, freight providers, or vendors.

19. Weather, Emergencies, and Force Majeure

Shipping may be delayed, suspended, or canceled because of weather, hurricanes, floods, fires, natural disasters, public emergencies, pandemics, labor strikes, supply chain disruptions, carrier shutdowns, government restrictions, legal changes, civil unrest, power outages, internet failures, transportation delays, or events outside the company’s control.

The company is not liable for delays or losses caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

20. Product Availability

All products are subject to availability.

The company reserves the right to limit quantities, substitute packaging, cancel unavailable items, split orders, or refund out-of-stock items.

Product availability shown online is not guaranteed until the order has been processed and accepted.

21. Customer Responsibility

By placing an order, the customer agrees that:

The shipping address provided is complete and accurate.

The customer is legally allowed to purchase and receive the products ordered.

The customer is of legal age for any restricted product.

The products will not be resold, transferred, transported, or used unlawfully.

The customer will comply with all applicable federal, state, local, and carrier rules.

The customer accepts responsibility for reviewing company policies before purchasing.

The customer understands that shipping times are estimates and not guaranteed.

22. Policy Changes

The company reserves the right to update, revise, replace, suspend, or remove this Shipping Policy at any time without prior notice.

Changes become effective when posted on the website or otherwise made available by the company.

Customers are responsible for reviewing this Shipping Policy before placing an order.
